The great thing about human hair extensions, clip in or not, is that just like your own natural hair, they can be styled using hair tools and hair styling products.
There are a couple of ways to style your clip in hair extensions and each depends on personal preference. I myself have shorter hair so I find that styling my own hair first, be it straightening it or curling it and then separately styling the hair extensions before I apply them, helps the clip in hair extensions blend well and look more natural.
For some, it may be easier to apply your hair extensions and then style them along with your natural hair. You may even style your own hair first, apply the hair extensions and then style them, again, it really is personal preference and what works best for you.
Human hair extensions can be styled with a hot iron, curling iron, pick, brush, comb, gel, mouse and/or hair spray.Synthetic, hard hair may add volume to your hairstyle but it will not style. Ultra Soft hair will also not hold style and is typically thin. For the best styling results, be sure to choose 100% human hair extensions which are semi soft, such as Pro Extensions.

If you find that your hair extensions are too long or perhaps you just want more layers and textures from your clip in hair hair extensions, you can cut or trim them.
Cutting and Trimming Clip In Hair Extensions can be done at home with a good pair of hair shears. Simply measure and cut. Please note that using the incorrect pair of hair scissors, such as ones not meant for cutting hair, can end up ruining your hair extensions.
If you rather not take the chance in cutting them incorrectly, you can take your hair extensions to a stylist at a salon and ask for them to be cut for you.
